ScheduleDrop is one of the newer names in home-service software. It's built by operators, it includes every feature on every plan, and it sets up your account for you before you log in. Cleaning companies are a big part of its customer base, alongside window cleaners, pressure washers, landscapers and other trades.

ConvertLabs is built for residential cleaning first. Both tools cover online booking, scheduling, a crew app and card-on-file payments, so the differences come down to pricing, billing, your website and how each one handles the recurring clean.

This guide compares ScheduleDrop and ConvertLabs side by side, including where ScheduleDrop is the better pick. If you're looking for a ScheduleDrop alternative, it should help. Want to follow along in the app? Start your free trial of ConvertLabs.

ScheduleDrop and ConvertLabs at a glance

What ScheduleDrop does well

ScheduleDrop says it's used by 300+ home service businesses across 13+ trades. Its strengths are real:

  • Every feature on every plan: plans differ only by how many providers you run.

  • Setup included: ScheduleDrop says it configures your booking form, business phone number, fees, cancellation policy and branding before you log in, and helps move your data from tools like BookingKoala, ZenMaid, Jobber and Housecall Pro.

  • Conversation Hub: calls, two-way texts and email replies in one inbox, with one number or several.

  • ScheduleBlast: broadcast a job to chosen crew members and the first to accept is auto-assigned.

  • Field tools: dispatch with live GPS, on-the-way alerts with ETA, admin and crew apps, quotes by text and email, and review and referral requests.

  • AI integration: connect ScheduleDrop to ChatGPT or Claude to create bookings and draft replies.

ScheduleDrop's pricing page lists team plans billed every four weeks (or yearly):

  • Launch, $97 per 4 weeks: up to 5 providers.

  • Build, $147 per 4 weeks: 6 to 10 providers.

  • Scale, $247 per 4 weeks: 11 to 20 providers.

  • Dominate, $347 per 4 weeks: 21 to 30+ providers, plus $10 per provider per month above 30.

There's a separate option for solo operators. The 14-day free trial needs a payment method on file, and the paid plan starts automatically unless you cancel.

What ConvertLabs does well

ConvertLabs is booking, payments and website software built with cleaning operators. It's used by 1,000+ service businesses and has booked 300K+ jobs, according to convertlabs.io.

Plans on the pricing page (billed monthly, 7-day trial, no contracts or cancellation fees):

  • Basic, $67/month: website included, customer and service provider portals, up to 5 service providers, up to $5,000 in monthly revenue, email support.

  • Professional, $197/month: up to 15 service providers, the iOS and Android provider app, 3 admin and 3 staff accounts, scheduler, auto-charge, email marketing, SMS notifications, checklists, Zapier and NiceJob integrations, and priority support.

What it really costs at 10 and 15 cleaners

ScheduleDrop bills every four weeks, which means 13 bills a year instead of 12. Here's the yearly math on month-to-month or four-week billing:

  • 10 cleaners: ScheduleDrop Build is $147 × 13 = $1,911 a year (about $159 a month). ConvertLabs Professional is $197 × 12 = $2,364 a year. ScheduleDrop is cheaper here.

  • 15 cleaners: ScheduleDrop Scale is $247 × 13 = $3,211 a year (about $268 a month). ConvertLabs Professional still covers you at $2,364 a year, so ConvertLabs is about $850 a year cheaper.

Small teams of 5 or fewer pay $97 per 4 weeks on ScheduleDrop versus $67 a month on ConvertLabs Basic, though Basic has a $5,000 monthly revenue cap and no cleaner app. Yearly billing on ScheduleDrop may change these numbers, so check its current yearly prices.

Where ConvertLabs is different

Card held at booking, charged after the clean

On a ConvertLabs online booking form, a customer picks bedrooms, bathrooms and frequency, sees the price and books with a card. The card is authorized at booking and charged automatically once the job is complete, and you can charge late-cancellation and same-day fees.

Victoria Westcott, co-founder of Oak Bay Clean, puts it this way: "On Convertlabs the card is held at booking, charged automatically when the job is complete, and recurring visits run on their own once they're set up. Chasing payments is basically off our plate."

Your website is included

Every ConvertLabs plan includes a website, so your service pages, booking form and customer portal live in one place, with no separate website bill.

Built around recurring cleans

Recurring visits generate themselves after each completed clean and keep the same cleaner assigned, with frequency discounts applied automatically.

Who each tool fits best

ScheduleDrop may be the better fit if you:

  • Have 6 to 10 cleaners and want the lowest yearly cost

  • Want every feature unlocked from day one

  • Want calls, texts and email in one shared inbox

  • Run more than one trade, like cleaning plus windows or pressure washing

  • Want the vendor to configure your account for you

ConvertLabs may be the better fit if you:

  • Have 11 to 15 cleaners, where ConvertLabs Professional costs less

  • Want your website included, not just a booking form

  • Prefer plain monthly billing

  • Want a cleaning-focused support team and a community of cleaning owners

How to switch from ScheduleDrop to ConvertLabs

Step 1: Export your customers

Export your customer list and booking history from ScheduleDrop. The ConvertLabs team can walk you through bringing your clients and bookings over.

Step 2: Rebuild recurring schedules

List each recurring client's frequency, day, arrival window, price and assigned cleaner. Set the frequency on the next ConvertLabs booking and future visits generate automatically. Run both systems in parallel for a week.

Step 3: Collect cards again

Send each client a secure credit card link from ConvertLabs. To move stored cards instead, ask ConvertLabs support about your options.

Step 4: Go live

Point your domain to your ConvertLabs site, update your Google Business Profile booking link, and port or forward your business number if you used ScheduleDrop's.

The bottom line

ScheduleDrop is a capable, modern platform with generous all-features pricing and hands-on setup, and it's a strong fit for teams of 6 to 10 and multi-trade businesses. If you run a residential cleaning company with up to 15 cleaners and want your website, booking and automatic payments on one plan, ConvertLabs is built around exactly that.
